About Our Transform Global Ambassador Ana Cimadevilla
Ana Cimadevilla is an accomplished HR Director specializing in the tech industry. With a solid foundation in psychology and organizational management, Ana holds a Master’s in HR Management and an MBA. Her passion for disruptive technology and startup environments drives her dynamic approach to human resources.
Ana brings nine years of experience managing complex, fast-paced, and challenging IT and tech environments. Over the past seven years, she has excelled in leadership roles, demonstrating her expertise and commitment to driving organizational success. Currently, she serves as the Head of People at Oradian, a leading SaaS core banking software provider for emerging markets, and is a Lead Ambassador for the Transform Madrid Chapter.

Q: What inspired you to become a Transform Global Ambassador?
A: My inspiration to become a Transform Global Ambassador stemmed from a passion for HR and People. Connections are highly relevant in our profession, and I think Transform allows us to build community in our own style while being part of a global community.
Q: What have been some of the most rewarding aspects of being an ambassador?
A: One of the most rewarding aspects has been the ability to engage with a dynamic and diverse community. Collaborating with other passionate individuals and having the chance to influence and inspire innovative practices within the workplace has been incredibly fulfilling.

Q: How do you engage with the community as a Transform Global Ambassador?
A: As a Transform Global Ambassador, I engage with the community through various events, roundtable discussions, and collaborative projects. These activities create platforms for open dialogue, knowledge sharing, and building meaningful connections. My goal is to foster a sense of belonging and support among HR professionals and leaders within the community
Q: What unique experiences or perspectives do you bring to the Transform Global community?
A: My unique experiences in high-growth companies and diverse industries and my commitment to creating inclusive workplaces allow me to offer valuable insights and practical guidance. I bring a strategic perspective on scaling operations while maintaining people-first principles, and my background in challenging environments has equipped me with a deep empathy and understanding of the nuances required to cultivate positive workplace cultures.
Q: What are some memorable experiences or interactions you’ve had as an ambassador?
A: A particularly memorable experience for me was organizing events alongside my colleagues, Tabita Luis and Julia Collado. We quickly developed an exceptional and organic relationship despite not knowing each other beforehand. This camaraderie allowed us to enhance the Transform community naturally and effectively. Witnessing the enjoyment and engagement of participants at these events has been incredibly rewarding.
Q: How do you see your role evolving in the future?
A: I envision my role evolving to include more strategic planning and cross-chapter coordination, particularly in organizing larger-scale events that unite HR professionals globally. Additionally, I hope that next year, we will see strong representation from the Madrid Chapter at the conference in Las Vegas, further strengthening our community’s presence and influence.

Q: How do you advocate for Transform’s mission and values in your activities?
A: I advocate for Transform’s mission by creating spaces for open dialogue and genuine connections, both online and offline. Organizing networking events, leading discussions, and collaborating on projects are some of the ways I promote Transform’s values.

A: At every event, we ensure ample opportunities for meaningful connections by arranging informal gatherings over coffee or beer at the end. This relaxed setting encourages deeper conversations and professional bonding. Additionally, we maintain these connections through social media, fostering an ongoing sense of community and collaboration.

A: Being a Transform Global Ambassador has significantly enhanced my network, leadership skills, and professional opportunities. The role has also been personally fulfilling, aligning with my passion for creating inclusive and supportive workplaces. Additionally, it has helped eliminate the isolation often experienced in fully remote work by providing regular opportunities for meaningful interactions and community engagement.

Q: What do you see as the future of the Transform Global community, and what is your role within it?
A: I see the Transform Global community continuing to expand and evolve, fostering increased collaboration, innovation, and influence in the world of work. Additionally, I hope to see the most dedicated and committed chapters sponsored to attend the conference in Las Vegas in 2025.
Q: Describe any events your Chapter has hosted or plans to host in the future and what impact they have.
A: Our Madrid Chapter recently hosted an event on “Upskilling & Reskilling in the Era of AI,” featuring expert speakers like África Muñoz and Bhavna Karani. This event highlighted AI’s transformative impact on the workforce, emphasizing the need for continuous learning and adaptability.
Another notable event focused on “Work-Life Balance and Mental Health,” led by Rebeca Calvo from Mentiness, where she provided key strategies for managing time and promoting mental well-being.
Future plans include more interactive workshops and networking sessions to foster deeper connections and shared learning within our community.

Q: Describe a day in your life when you are not engaging in ambassador activities.
A: On a typical day when I’m not engaged in ambassador activities, I work full-time as the Head of People at Oradian, a fintech company. My primary focus is on building top-talent teams, coaching leadership and employees, and enhancing company culture and values. I enjoy spending quality moments with my dog, partner, family, and friends in my free time. Additionally, I deliver training on soft skills and facilitate mentoring for other HR professionals.
