About Our Transform Global Ambassador Tabita Luis
Tabita Luis is a seasoned expert in people management, diversity, and inclusion, with over 13 years of experience strategically leading HR departments in multinational corporations, early-stage startups, and hypergrowth scaleups across Latin America, the USA, and Europe. An international speaker, facilitator, and advocate recognized as a LinkedIn Top Voice for 2023, Tabita has spent over a decade designing and facilitating trainings focused on human skills, D&I, leadership, and people management. She is also the Co-Founder of WeAll, the largest Spanish-speaking community centered on Talent, Diversity, and Inclusion.
Ambassador Journey:
Q: What are your experiences and motivations for becoming a Transform Global Ambassador?
A; My primary inspiration for being a Transform Ambassador stems from a desire to actively contribute to the evolution of work and to bring those insights and innovations back to Madrid and enrich the local HR community. My goal is to foster a collaborative environment where we can collectively thrive, leveraging Transform’s progressive ideas and technologies to catalyze growth and development within our local sphere. I am not interested in just witnessing the transformation but being an integral part of it—driving change, facilitating development, and ultimately, contributing to a future where work is more adaptable, inclusive, and innovative, and I believe that Transform is a great platform to do this.
Q: What inspired you to become a Transform Global Ambassador?
A: I´ve always been keen to actively engage with the innovative HR community, and Transform offers a solid platform to do this. I decided to step up and be part of the local chapter as an ambassador not only to benefit from the power of the community but to offer other local colleagues the opportunity to benefit too.
Q: What have been some of the most rewarding aspects of being an ambassador?
A: Being part of a global community with a strong brand, connecting with local like-minded professionals.
Engagement and Impact
Q: What unique experiences or perspectives do you bring to the Transform Global community?
A: I have lived and worked in many different cities, and I have a wide range of experiences from seed-stage startups to big corporations. I have worked in a wide variety of industries, including some very innovative companies in the education, food, tech, and psychedelic space.
Q: What are some memorable experiences or interactions you’ve had as an ambassador?
A: In our first event I had the opportunity to reconnect with many colleagues I hadn’t seen since before the pandemic, which was unexpected but incredibly rich.
Q: How do you see your role evolving in the future?
A: I see the Madrid community growing and becoming the go-to place for HR professionals and entrepreneurs.
Collaboration and Networking:
Q: Can you share examples of how you’ve collaborated with others in the Transform Global community and/or your chapter?
A: We are three local leaders and we already executed our first event, currently planning the second. We have a newsletter, and we are also reaching out to potential partners for sponsorship so our community can grow.
Personal Insights:
Q: How has being a Transform Global Ambassador impacted your personal or professional life?
A: In a short period, I am building strong connections with professionals I never met before being an ambassador, widening my perspective on how to practice HR, and having a positive impact in my consultancy business.
Community & Future Vision:
Q: What events have your Chapter hosted or plans to host in the future and what impact did they have?
A: We hosted an in-person event with two experts sharing their experiences around upskilling and reskilling, that brought together around 50 local professionals, many important connections were created and we received super positive feedback from the participants, plus an offer to sponsor the second event. In our second in-person event, we will have mental health experts speaking about the best strategies in the workplace.

Q: When you are not engaging in ambassador activities, what does a day in your life look like?
A: My days are very dynamic. On a regular day, I probably have a couple of meetings with current or potential corporate clients. I hold a couple of professional or life coaching sessions. I invest some time in the design and delivery of some of the learning experiences I am currently working on, and I do some research for my newsletter or the content I share on Linkedin.
Q: What is a quote or mantra that inspires you?
A: “If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up people to collect wood and don’t assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.”
