About Transform Ambassador Alex Vega
Alex has over 10 years of experience driving organizational growth and employee engagement across global teams. She has led HR strategies at Native Instruments, Scholastic, Sony Music Publishing, and now at Red Bull. Alex is adept at partnering with senior leaders to coach and implement impactful Talent solutions, and derives great joy from building relationships and connections. She loves being in nature and recharging by getting some fresh mountain air. Alex also loves dancing and listening to music, eating good food, and getting some good sleep to be her best self. She’s a big mental health advocate, making sure her physical and mental well-being are priorities.
Ambassador Journey
Transform: What are your experiences and motivations for becoming a Transform Ambassador?
Alex: I have been participating in the Transform community since 2019, and as I’ve grown in my career, I’ve also grown in the community. Taking on the Transform Ambassador role was intuitively the next step in the journey to continue to pour into an amazing group of people-driven leaders across the globe.
Transform: What inspired you to become a Transform Chapter Ambassador?
Alex: I found inspiration in the idea of being able to have a hand in building the Los Angeles Transform Chapter. Saying “Yes” to the Chapter Ambassador opportunity was a no-brainer. Transform has given me so much over the years, and I was thrilled to step in and contribute more to our community.
Transform: What have been some of the most rewarding aspects of being part of the Transform community?
Alex: The most rewarding part of being involved in the Transform community is the access to such a skilled and compassionate global community, so willing to share and connect over the work we are all so passionate about.

Transform: What makes your city or region unique when it comes to people + work?
Alex: Our beautiful city of Los Angeles is part of the wider Los Angeles County.
Transform: What’s one thing you’re excited to create or cultivate through your chapter this year?
Alex: I’d love for our chapter to be known for connecting the right people to the right cause, whether that’s being a resource to another member or helping someone find their next career opportunity.

Transform: How do you advocate for Transform’s mission and values in your community or network?
Alex: Transform is part of my professional story; any opportunity I get to introduce myself, Transform has a place in the conversation.

Alex: LinkedIn has been a great platform to introduce people to the Transform community and its amazing global community.

Transform: How do you define great leadership in today’s world of work?
Alex: Great leadership is made of many components. What defines a leader is when they can tune in so innately that they know what the moment calls for.
Transform: What does “people-first” leadership mean to you personally?
Alex: To me, “people-first” leadership means prioritizing the humanity of the people you are helping lead.
