Amar C. Bakshi is the founder of Shared_Studios, a company that creates immersive life-size video conferencing environments that connect people around the world live and full-body, as if in the same room. The company has connected hundreds of thousands of people worldwide and worked with organizations including Google, Twitter, Airbnb, Juniper Networks, the White House, the European Parliament, the United Nations, and many others. PBS created a 30 minute documentary on the company available online. Bakshi previously worked as a reporter at The Washington Post and CNN and holds degrees from Harvard, Johns Hopkins and Yale Law School.
