Dr. Alex Shubat is a serial technology entrepreneur and co-founder and CEO of Espresa. Co-founding Virage Logic in 1996, Alex served as the company’s president and CEO until September 2010, when Synopsys acquired the company. Before Espresa, Alex was the CEO of Goji Food Solutions, a pioneering company in food tech. Alex is an investor, serving on multiple boards, including Santa Clara University and the University of Toronto. He has an executive M.B.A. from Stanford University, a B.S. and M.S. from the University of Toronto, Canada, and a Ph.D. from Santa Clara University.
